The Zonta Club of Corvallis provided grants totaling $19,820 in 2011 to programs and agencies in Corvallis and Benton County

2012 Klausman Scholarship Available to Women Business Students

The Zonta Club of Corvallis is offering one $2,700 Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship to a woman undergraduate studying business at Oregon State University. The winner is automatically eligible for a district and a $5000 international Klausman scholarship.

Applications are due by April 30, 2012.

The Zonta International Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship, first awarded in 1998, is open to women pursuing an undergraduate degree in business leading to a business management career. The program is designed to encourage undergraduate women to enter careers and to seek leadership positions in business-related fields. The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship looks to the women of today to be the leaders of tomorrow.

2012 Young Women in Public Affairs Award Application

The Zonta Club of Corvallis is offering one $1,000 scholarship to a pre-college woman. The Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) scholarship award encourages young women of high school age to participate in public affairs by recognizing a commitment to volunteerism, evidence of leadership achievements, and a dedication to the advancement of the status of women.

Applicants for the $1000 YWPA scholarship from the Zonta Club of Corvallis must be between the ages of 16-19 and must be living and studying in Linn or Benton counties. The winner of the club award will be considered for a district award of an additional $1000 and, if selected, be eligible for an international award of $3000.
