The Town:
Corvallis, home of the Oregon State University Beavers, is a charming college town tucked along the banks of the Willamette River. Corvallis boasts a vibrant downtown filled with great shops and fine restaurants, miles and miles of bike paths and lovely tree-lined streets.
The Venue:
The 2010 Governor’s Seminar will be held at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center, a beautiful conference facility located on the campus of Oregon State University.
The Hotel:
The Hilton Garden Inn is conveniently located a mere 5 minute walk from the Alumni Center. We have reserved a block of rooms at a special rate of $99 (plus tax) single or double. The Food:
Valley Catering, owned and operated by Corvallis Zontian, Mary Bentley, will be serving continental breakfasts, lunches and the Friday evening banquet dinner.
The Fun:
The Governor’s Seminar Banquet will be held on FRIDAY evening. It will be vintage hat night at the banquet so be sure to dig out and dust off your favorite vintage hat. Rumor has it that prizes will be distributed.
Even More Fun:
Shop at the Zonta Store. Buy lucky raffle tickets in support of Lester B Pearson College.
Still More Fun:
On Saturday, September 11, you can enjoy Rhapsody in the Vineyard, a Downtown wine walk, presented by the Downtown Corvallis Association. Oregon’s premier wineries will be offering tastes of their finest vintages. Retailers throughout Downtown Corvallis will host Oregon Wineries.
Representatives from each winery will be on hand to discuss their wines and answer your wine questions. Downtown businesses will provide a variety of delicious appetizers along with music and/or artwork by local artisans. This optional event costs $15 and includes a commemorative wine glass and 10 scrip (additional scrip are available for purchase).

Don’t Forget:
• The banquet will be held on FRIDAY, September 10.
• Special room rates at the Hilton Garden Inn are only available until

• Wear your vintage hat to the FRIDAY evening banquet.
• Be an early bird. Get your registration in before August 15 to avoid late
registration fee
